Inklaim Free tools Vectorizer
Free tool, no account
A scanned drawing sheet, a photo of a drawing or a clean sketch becomes vector lines: Inklaim traces them along the center of the stroke and places them on an A4 sheet within the usable surface of the chosen office. Free, no sign-up, and the file is not kept.
No AI: it is the same tracer Inklaim uses for line drawings from sketches, and it adds no lines.
In short
The Inklaim vectorizer turns a raster drawing (a scan, a photo of a drawing, a PNG, JPG or TIFF, or a PDF page) into a line SVG, traced along the center of the stroke and laid out on an A4 sheet within the usable surface of the chosen office. The lines follow the original drawing: none is invented.
Use it when all you have is an old paper sheet or a drawing as an image and you want clean lines to edit. For a DXF, ask the converter for DXF output.
A scanned sheet from an earlier application turns back into lines, ready to reuse in a continuation or a foreign filing.
A drawing that arrived as an image or a photo becomes an SVG you can open in your graphics or CAD program.
A sketch with crisp strokes becomes a line drawing. For freehand sketches the app also has an eraser, scissors and “Simplify”.
In the app
With an Inklaim account, a PDF of scanned drawing sheets becomes a set of editable figures: you choose the pages, the figures are split apart, the header, sheet numbers and captions are removed, and the existing reference numerals are read and kept, renumbered or removed. You review everything before the figures are created.
