Inklaim Free tools
Free, no account
Three online tools for anyone preparing patent drawing sheets: a drawing checker against the office rules, conversion between PDF, TIFF, PNG, SVG and DXF, and vectorization of scanned drawings. They run on the same engine as Inklaim, with no AI, and files are not kept.
The three tools
A4 sheet size, resolution, color, margins, line weight and text height, for the EPO, PCT, UIBM, USPTO, CNIPA and KIPO. From a PDF (up to 10 pages), PNG, JPG or TIFF.
The patent drawing checker →Black-and-white TIFF at 300 dpi for e-filing, PDF, PNG, SVG and DXF. DXF files and vector PDFs become an A4 sheet for the chosen office.
The patent drawing converter →A scanned drawing or an image becomes a line SVG, traced along the stroke and laid out within the usable surface of the chosen office.
Vectorize a scanned drawing →In short
The Inklaim free tools ask for no account and keep no files: each file stays in memory only while it is processed and is then discarded, and neither the file nor its name ends up in the logs. They use no AI: measurements, conversions and lines are calculated on the file.
They are free because they are a sample of the work Inklaim does on whole matters. The only limits are on usage: files up to 10 MB and at most 30 runs per hour.
